Next to the convention center, brings top stand-up comedians to the south boston waterfront on thursdays – saturdays, and occasionally other evenings. Across from rose wharf and close by the aquariam stop on the t-line. The last act was harrison; he did a good job. The shows are not expensive at all. On boston’s historic freedom trail, adjacent to historic faneuil hall and just a short walk from the haymarket and government center t stops.

Dick doherty’s has been a major influence in boston’s comedy culture for the last few decades, so if you are in the area and looking for a good time, this should be your first stop. Omg i would have rather spent the $20 admission at the dentist office. No age restrictions – but the club cautions that much of the comedy is “r” rated and some people may find it offensive. We recommend going early and having an appetizer to start the night and make some new friends. Great night out for not much more than a movie and snacks and the comedians were up close and personable-support this place! There were 3 other comedians but all, not so funny sadly.
